So, who is Kayley?

Hello there! My name is Kayley Schmidt. I am currently in my 4th year teaching. I currently teach 6th grade Social Studies at Fairview Elementary in Moore. Previously, I taught 4th grade in Norman. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2022 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and I am currently in the 1st year of my Master's Program in Learning Experience Design and Technology, also at OU. As an educator, I am extremely passionate about creating curriculum which not only meets the needs of each learner, but also isn't frustrating on the teacher's end. My goal upon completion of my Master's program is to begin a career writing and developing ELA or Math curriculum for a company such as Pearson or McGraw-Hill.
