This week, gosh I have learned so much. I have slowly become less scared of photoshop, premiere pro, audacity, etc. and have been more willing to just play with all these programs. It is very important to go into any project, but especially just in general to go in without high stakes or expectations of yourself and JUST be willing to PLAY.
Saving everything as a .psd will save you a lot of headaches in the long-run, and never forgot what Dr. B says- ALWAYS have a drive for everything you complete in this class, and save things as much as you don't want to start over!
You don't (especially at the beginning) have to be the best at all 4 criteria, in Mini 3a. Again, just play and be willing to learn new things!
You can animate on photoshop! How wonderful! Make sure you are in timeline, and can see the lovely settings at the bottom. You will need to make sure you are doing frame animation. Move your figure (or whatever you are working with), around several times depending on your project, duplicate the background. You can also save it as a gif to share or save it as a website link to paste on a site as well.

This week, I also worked on 3a, our animation assignment. Although pretty frustrating, you can also animate in Photoshop! This did take me nearly 2 hours, but I'm very thankful we were able to practice it in class! After figuring out what I was going to animate, (in this project, a picture of a flower I found on Unsplah.com), I just kept doing what I mentioned above! After some revision suggestions in class, I also decided to add a sun that I drew in Procreate. This was easy to do, since the flower naturally had some shadows on it already. I just placed the sun in each frame where it would make sense. This portion took me roughly 30 minutes to finalize.
This week I also worked on one of my first sound projects, the original sound! This probably took me about 30 minutes to record an original sound, mess with some of the settings in audacity (like the distort feature), export and then upload it!
