You can make reflections in photoshop! Duplicate only the subject, flip it to where the base is touching the original. Make sure this is on a new layer. Change the layer opacity to 60%ish, then add motion blur and make the distance about 30, which creates a really cool ripple effect! I did this to the subject (myself), and the words I added as well. Water reflections are difficult, but doable. You can also add a blur over the subject to make it sorta look like you're supposed to be in the water.
Whenever your project is being reviewed, it's crucial to have someone else take notes for you so you're able to listen. Then, when you add your revisions you need to add the summary of them. Always add a summary of steps anyway.
It is crucial to zoom in to your projects! It shows attention to detail.
Temporary layers can be your best friend, especially when making something look like it's supposed to be there.
For collages, the revisions can still be weird as long as it's cohesive and kinda makes sense!
Log:
This week I also worked on my Gestalt Animation! How fun! This is definitely not a project I am the proudest of, but I am proud of my own creativity. I used Procreate to draw the frame and the line going through it, then I used the same antics as the last project to actually animate it! Since I had done this before, it probably took me about 45 minutes to an hour
